In 2003 Sifu Sergio Pascal Iadarola started to learn the Large Frame (Yang Cheng Fu lineage) from Sifu Alan Fong, learning the complete set from him in Amsterdam, The Netherlands together with some of the Yang Taiji two men sets, although he kept the practice up it was not until around 2008 that Sifu Sergio started to delve seriously into the pure northern Chinese Internal Arts.
It was 2012 that Sifu Sergio started his journey into the Huang Shen Shyan system, which is a fusion of Fujian White Crane and the 37 postures of Chen Man Ching Taijiquan. Like he always does Sifu Sergio looked for the best and most authentic way for the transmission, learning under several students of the late Huang Shen Shyan in places like Taiwan, Singapore and New Zealand. It was in New Zealand where he spend several months a year for a period of 4 years learning privately under Wee Kee Jin at his house as an indoor student.
To complete the classical Yang Taiji that he started in 2003, he did extensive research throughout mainland China. Eventually in Shanghai he was accept as the private student of Sifu Tian Bing Yuan the grandson of Yang Taiji Grandmaster Tian Zhaolin, the adopted Son of Yang Jian Hou and training partner of the late Grandmaster Yang Shao Hou. Sifu Sergio received a certificate of the completion for the complete old unarmed Yang Taijiquan system, including the Large frame, Middle Frame, 64 Small Frame set, the complete 88 San Shou, Da Lu, Yang Family Ba Duan Jin and Tui Shou cycles. A first for a westerner to receive this certificate from the Tian Family.
Since 2016 Sifu Sergio was also accepted as a private student of Sifu Sam Tam in Vancouver Canada, where he is increasing his internal achievements through Yi Quan’s standing mediation practices and learning Sifu Sam Tam’s unique version of Yang Taijiquan.
Sifu Sergio Pascal Iadarola has more then 38 years of experience in the Martial Arts and has dedicated his life to spreading his knowledge about the Chinese Internal arts throughout his association the IWKA ( Internal Wisdom and Knowledge association) which has branches in over 14 countries worldwide at present.
